This was originally intended to be a catch-all, anything goes blog, but my husband and I conceived our daughter shortly after my last post, and my world is a whole new place now. So here I am – back after a serious hiatus.

Don’t ask why… I was thinking about Bear, and for whatever reason, “Bees” was the first thing that popped into my mind, so I went with it. Her Etsy store can be found here, and I decided to name it Bears and Bees. My husband suggested posting the paintings online to see if anyone would be interested in buying them, so I decided, why not? Any proceeds go directly into an account for her future education. The result, when I removed the plastic wrap, was gorgeous! You then cover the face of the canvas with plastic wrap, and let baby go to town slapping, smearing, poking, pulling, and kicking. You take a canvas and drop dots of different coloured paint randomly across it. This was perfect for me, as I loathe mess, and Bear is teething hardcore, so she puts everything in her mouth. Back in May, I was looking online for some fun sensory activities to do with Bear, when I came across a mess-free painting idea.
